Why collectors want it
Which one to look for
Shown at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show for the centenary of Ferruccio Lamborghini's birth. Aventador SV-era running gear with the 6.5-litre V12 at 770 PS, a seven-speed ISR gearbox and a carbon monocoque with aluminium subframes. The first Lamborghini with rear-wheel steering and the first with three exhaust outlets. Dry weight 1,520 kg.
Open version with no fixed roof, revealed later in 2016 and mechanically identical to the coupé at 770 PS. Dry weight 1,570 kg, 50 kg more than the coupé. Because the run splits exactly twenty and twenty, neither body style is the scarce one, and public results have landed within a few percent of each other.
